I'd much rather think that there are a bunch of animals floating around my room than a bunch of people. *shudders* There are times though...when I can just tell that someone is here with me. My grandma and I were very close. Last year, on the anniversary of the day she died I was just up in my room and I hadn't stopped crying like all day. Suddenly I just felt so at peace. and I'm sure it was her with me.
Oh and here's this one! I just remembered this! My brother and I had had another sister, Erin. I was only 2, so I don't remember her, but my brother was 4 1/2. according to my mom, he was so upset when they had to tell him that his new sister wasn't coming home from the hospital. A few weeks after she was born and died, my brother came out to the kitchen in the morning and said to my mom, "where's Erin?" and my mom said, "what do you mean?" and Kevin told her that Erin had come to visit him last night and they were playing. that story...gosh. It gives me the chills, but also makes me happy. |
