The makeup bag is a great idea!
From what I've seen ont he market, the Celltei bags are the best. They have everything! and they are built so very well... you may spend a little more moeny on them, but I really like mine. It has zip pockets on the two sides and in the back the full length of the bag, plus it has a big pocket in the front, so I'm able to carry all of Schatzi's things (harnes, leash, food/treats, collapsable food dishes, a couple of toys). The bag even has a holder on the inside for cold packs/warm packs to keep your baby cool or warm, and a holder for a water bottle.. the kind with the ball at the end they can drink out of... very nice! and it also has a built in feature so you can use your carrier as a carseat, you can slide a seatbelt through the back and secure your baby in the car.. I have the Celltei pack o pet size small in black.
