I would run the other way pretty fast and forget getting one there. The Continental Kennel Club registry is not recognized by the AKC. If the parents are not AKC registered, then the pup cannot be AKC registered. If you are buying a purebred pup and paying the price for a purebred, it should be registered with a registry that will register Purebred dogs only with generations of registered dogs which the AKC does in the US and the Canadian Kennel Club does in Canada.
