 Is it fleas?
I would like some input from you guys. I started noticing these small bumps on Cecilia. On her shoulders, head and a few on her muzzle. When I part her hair I can see that she has little sores. Looks like she was bit by a small incest of bug. I automatically assumed fleas, but I cannot find a trace of them. I am continually combing her with a flea comb and I cannot find even one flea or any flea dirt either. As far as the sores go it is like she gets bit and then scratches it until she bleeds a little and it scabs over. She keeps getting new ones, only maybe 5 or 6 at a time, and the old ones heal but they are always in the same places. Never on the lower back or belly or legs. I don't think it is really clear, but I am posting a picture of one of her "bites." Does it sound/look like fleas? Have any of you had your pups get fleas and never be able to locate one? |
