For and Italian Greyhound my sister is fostering. She has actually fell in love with him and may adopt him herself. She already has 2 Italian Greyhounds now and 2 cats and she is fostering 2 other Italian Greyhounds. Anyway her favorite one, Oden, broke both his legs yesterday. Her husband came home from work and found him laying by the bushes on his hind legs. His legs literatley broke in half. He must have chased a squirel or something. They will have to do surgery on him on Monday, but now he has to stay at the vets all weekend. He will get casts on both legs as well as pins. My sister is so upset. She feels as if it is all her fault. She has owned Greyhounds for several years and never has had one break a leg. Their legs are so skinny. Anyway please say your prayers that Oden will get through this and my sister will have the strenght to support him through his care. |
