I'm feeding Nutro Natural Ultra now, but I fed Eukanuba for years without any health problems or coat problems. If he is doing well on what you have been feeding him and since you are going to have to change to an adult food at a year anyway, it probably wouldn't hurt to do some studying and just change foods when you find an adult formula you like.

Royal Canin does not have that much corn in it, but it does have a little. And it has the small middle part (corn gluten meal) of the corn which is the highest quality of the corn. And its not one of the first 3 ingredients, which means there is barely any of it in there.
Another good dry food is Canidae
