People can be so heartless. I used to groom a woman's Yorkie and she was always trying to get me to take her 2 cockatiels. My daughter had 2 and I guess she thought we were bird lovers..
Finally, she told me she found a home for them...she took them to a big pet warehouse, put the cage in a cart, acted like she was shopping, then left them in the back of the store...!
My friend at the Humane Society said they love to get birds, most go home with workers..why abandon them? |
