I think Nori is an adorable name, but I think if you want to change it, it probably won't be too confusing for the dog. Lots of us name our dogs one thing but have a million pet names for them. Nikko knows his name but if I call him "cutie boy", "nickster" or "nicky" like I sometimes do, he still responds. It is more the tone of your voice that they respond to, not so much the actual words.
