Yes, I agree. Don't make homecomings and greetings into a big deal. Some trainers would even say
ignore your dog when you first walk in.
When he demonstrates calm behavior,
then greet him. It's calm behavior that you want to reinforce.
If he's rolling on her back and peeing, then I'd agree that this is submissive peeing. If he's standing up or jumping excitedly around, I believe it's excitement peeing.
