Ok, I need to tell you that my sister and I are ok with most bugs but have a severe phobia of cockroaches. Product of growing up in Japan - The roaches there are black, about 2 inches, with wings and they can fly. Once you share a shower with one - phobia. Period. I can really identify with this one. . AAnyway, you didn't mention when you step on them to kill the critters.... the popping sound they make and all that nasty white yuck that ooozzzes out. I HATE ROACHES!
