I have wondered that myself, in fact the vet tech gave me some to try because Ollie was such a picky eater. It's what they feed at the vets office.
I believe it is all individual preferences, dogs seem to do well on all brands. It just depends on what yours likes, and if they are alergic to corn or not.
I feed science diet, Natural choice, royal canine, Iams and Puppy chow. They eat what they want, but Royal Canine does appear to be their favorite.
