we live away from the road, so unless it's nighttime or we're in a hurry, i let tucker out without the leash. the neighbor's house is closer to the road, so i put him on a leash while we're there.
if we're going for a walk by the barns, i leash him up b/c i'm scared of the owls and hawks. tucker looks like a little jackrabbit when he runs
