 Definately More Is Better
It has been my experience that having more than one, especially if you work during the day, is better for them. Just like most people want friends and someone to be with (husband, wife, partner) I believe dogs want that closeness with their own too and it doesnt take away from the affection they show you. Just like it doesnt take away from the affection you show them even though you have someone to be with.
