With Danes you dont pay a stud fee untill the litter is whelped, Which in any case of breed I decied to I would not pay the stud fee untill then ( for the chance of a false pregancy) , BUT you need to have a set price set before hand. I pay 500 stud fee for my Danes but they also usally have bigger litters than Yorkies. I dont kow what the average stud fee is for Yorkies. It also depends on how many CH are in the peds if he is a ch stud then it could be more....
