Something you could try which is what I did for Murphy is to set the purse on the floor and put a treat in it or a chew stick in it and allow her to go in it on her own. I did this with Murphy several days in a row. He would go in it sit in it and I would say "Good Boy" and give him a treat. Than I moved him up to giving him something to occupy his time in the bag like a Nylabone. He would just chew on it in his bag. Now when I get it our or put it on the floor he is in it because he knows we are going somewhere it is quite funny.
