Are the photos in jpeg or gif? It will not accept a tiff file so you might want to check that first. Also check the size of the picture. If it's too big you will need to resize it to a smaller file. Usually "invalid" means the file type is wrong.
Valid file extensions: gif jpeg jpg png - I save a copy of my photo as a jpeg in a smaller file size 200k. If you still have trouble, PM me.
