Animal Smiley 019 Marking question and female personality

Hi all!

I'm not sure why this never occured to me before, but I just realized something very important... I've always owned female dogs, but have wanted a male yorkie for quite a while now. I'm going to look at a litter of puppies this weekend and just read about males marking their territory. I can not have this in my house!! For all you male-yorkie mammas (and daddies!), is marking a problem??? I was reading something about a male yorkie that is marking all over the house. If this is the case, I will definitely be getting a female. However, I've heard that females bond with male humans better than females (I would hate for the puppy to love my boyfriend more than me! ), and that they don't adapt to other dogs as well as male dogs do. I don't have any other dogs currently, but would like to get at least one more in the future. What are your experiences??
