When to get a 2nd puppy was a tough decision for Dan & I. We wanted one shortly after we got Jazzie but we decided to wait until she was five years old before we finally did it. The main reason we waited (beside the $$ issue) is we didn't want 2 babies to get old at the same time. I kept on thinking about "Where the Red Fern Grows" and couldn't bear the thought of losing 2 babies close together.
Some one mentioned the size of their home being too small. I don't think our little babies mind a small space. They are so small already so it's got to be like a estate to them! Don't let that stop you if that is your only reason for not getting #2!
Of course adding #2 mean more #2 to pick-up!!!
