 Is it ok to get spayed while in heat?
Sophie had a appointment to get spayed August 8 and she started to bleed yesterday. I called the vet and she will be spayed tommorrow morning. I have heard that some vets will not spay a dog when they are in heat. Is there a reason why? I am getting a little nervous. This is Sophie second heat and it was only 4 months apart. I thought we would be safe by making a appointment in august but I guessed wrong.
