I am so sorry to hear about the loss of the litter. Sadly, it does happen...and it does not mean the bitch who killed is maladjusted...dogs can do these things, they are animals with different instincts.
I had a girl with a litter of 4..her sister got into her pen during the night..I found the mom sitting by the bed while her sister was laying with the puppies. Mom was so glad to see me..I scolded sister and she got out of the bed..I realize it could have just as easily been a tragedy!! After that I got pens with clamp tops.. |
