Is it possible to just block off the kitchen so she can be where you are? Or perhaps put her on a leash and attach it to you?

It is really hard in the beginning until you get a pattern established. But you need to realize this is something that will take a long time. she won't be trained in just a week or two. Some not until they are a year or better.

My two are 7 months and 5 months, and although they are good with the pee pads in the kitchen, I still don't trust them in the rest of the house. We are slowly working on the living room now.

Just because they are trained in one room does not mean they are trained in the rest of the house.
