Good point. The other two I found seemed really tight, perhaps this was a defective one. I don't know if I would have been able to tell if I'd checked it before walking her. However, prior to the "incident" I had walked her using that particular harness several times. At the very least I think everyone should be aware and check the snugness of the D rings BEFORE taking their babies outside. They may be fine one time, but not the next???
