I would not personally breed any two that were related. Any health problems in the father's line will be doubled and more likely to appear. Do some research on linebreeding and inbreeding. I remember reading "not for the faint of heart and should only be done by experienced breeders with full knowledge of the lines and consequences". Most genetic problems have to be on both sides to appear in a puppy so when you have the same genes on both sides all of the bad will most likely appear even if neither adult has the condition.
So many things can go wrong with breeding anyway - why start off with a mark against you? |
