Maya my Pom is from a private pet store AKC registered. Her paper show she is from Missouri so I'm sure it's a puppy mill. While Maya has been healthy, she is much bigger than standard 12 1/2 lbs and she is very territorial. You cannot but your hand under my bed without her trying to snap at you. I cannot get meds down her without her snapping or even clean her eyes. She has mellowed a bit with Cali around and even lets her under the bed andgoes in her playpen. I know most people would have given her away but I take pet ownership very seriously and just know how to deal with her. Somedays she can be a real sweetheart. I feel it's not her fault just bad breeding. |
