Most pet shops that sell live animals really break my heart. We only have one in town -- I try to avoid going there, in fact I only go there to pick up puppy food. And then, of course, I have to go and check out the puppies and kittens, and all of the birds --
It is so sad to think that the only way to get these stores to stop selling live animals is to quit buying them. But if we don't buy them, then what happens to all of the innocents behind bars?
