Can we be for real here people. I have two small (babies) yorkies. I know that a dog is not supposed to "get pregnant" in it's first heat. She has never been in heat yet. My little Trooper is so small that he is not even weaned from his chi surrogate mommy yet. You guys act like I have a houseful of yorkies and I'm packing them up as they are being born. I do know that they only have a couple of babies, very small litters. I do not plan on getting rich. You can call me a "backyard breeder" and say that I will use the little guys as "cash cows" but are you for real? If I only have two dogs and give them lots of love and attention and make sure their medical needs are met and they have a litter of puppies and I find what I think to be good homes...that makes me bad? What makes a good breeder? Having lots of dogs or ribbons to hang or many "online friends" that say your a good breeder? If I shower them with things they need and place a few puppies into loving homes and that makes me a "bad breeder" then I guess that is what I'll be. And if I'm putting a little cash (even if only a little) in the bank and it came from the sale of a puppy then call me what you will. It may not be enough to get my building built but I have a feeling even if I wanted the money for a paperclip you guys would have a problem with that. |
