Default PLEASE HELP! - Badger Vomitting Blood

Hello everyone. I haven't been on here for a while but I'm sick with worry. It's 6.30 in the morning here in London and I haven't been to bed all night

Last night at about 7.30 Badger was sick in the lounge. I had given him some cheese the night before (I normally give it to him as a treat and I probably gave him more than was usual). He had been fine all day except it's very hot here so he was a bit lethargic which I just put down to the heat. Anyway, he vomitted up a whole lot of cheese and it was the most awful retching I have ever seen him do. He made this kind of screeching noise in his throat and then he started retching up blood. He did this three or four times and then threw up a huge amount of blood mixed up with vomit. I took him straight down to the emergency vet

The vet that saw him gave him three lots of injections - two to stop him vomitting and an antibiotic. He checked Badger over and said he thought that it wasn't too serious as Badger wasn't demonstrating too much stomach discomfort and seemed quite alert and lively. When we got home, he threw up once in the cab but this time there was just mostly sputum and it was a bit pink coloured. He seemed listless but otherwise okay and we even played in the lounge a bit. I didn't give him any food and only little sips of water. He now hasn't eaten for about twenty four hours as the vet said no food last night and no breakfast either. He also said to take him to our regular vet this morning. They open at nine

Anyway, during the night, I was just falling asleep and I heard him retching again. I think he must have picked up a bit of salami off the floor that I didn't notice (my husband made sandwiches last night and he must have dropped it). It was just a tiny little sliver but this came up along with a whole lot of pink sputum. That was about 1.00am. I gave him a little bit of water afterwards

He keeps vomitting now. He's done it about nine times and I'm sick with worry. I really want to give him some water but I'm worried he'll throw it up. It seems that every time I go to stroke him, it sets the vomitting off which I don't understand

Please, please please tell me what is going on!! I'm so worried! I just don't know what to do and I'm terrified that he's not had anything to drink and he seems so listless. I've never seen him like this before. Today is also supposed to be the hottest day in London for 100 years! I don't know what to do . I'm waiting for the vet's offices to open but I'm wondering if I shouldn't just take him straight back to the emergency vet now. Does anyone know what this could be? The vomit he's had now is just froth. At first it was pink but now it's just a light yellow colour. Please help!
