There are vet bills, supplies and medicine to be bought and I'm sure credit cards are a breeders best friend to cover that stuff until the puppies are sold to only pay that off to start again later in the year. So the answer to your question, I think they use the money they make off of their puppies to replenish their accounts or credit card debts.
By the way, no one MADE anyone out to be a puppy hater but I'm sure you can see how the following sentence can send the wrong message: "Now in order to get the building I need to know how the price of each puppy so I can figure how many litters she'll have to have...I only need enough puppies to get my building and I figure since they are AKC registered they should bring in some money." |
