For sure - the older they get - the less often they pee.

I also take my dogs out every two hours or so, and if I faithfully do this, they rarely have an accident in the house.

They aren't good about telling me they need to go out. If my Bichon is ever sitting near the door (that is the best he ever does)... I'd better take him out.

My Yorkie come by and barks at me occasionally. So I take him out whether he's telling me he needs to go out or not is anyone's guess.

I do know that my Yorkie does most of his peeing between 6:00 and 10:00 at night. Don't ask me why. He can go all day without peeing and all night without peeing....but evenings are just his time.
