My Bichon does this almost every night when I first get home from work. With him, it certainly has something to do with his being excited about my getting home.
Then, the other day, my 10-month old little Yorkie did this for the very first time. Now I suppose he will be doing it occasionally.
It is perfectly harmless - and if you don't get upset, your pup will get less upset, and soon it won't be bothering either one of you. It just happens. And, you're right. It does last for about 30 seconds or so.
Good luck! Carol Jean | Oh okay thanks! I feel better now knowing that my dog isnt the only one this is happening to! |
