 No New Puppies...
Some of you know our 3 year old baby Jewel went to heaven in May. The breeder we got Jewel from still has her mom and she went into heat last month. We were so looking forward to getting Jewel's half sister or brother but today we found out Roxy "dropped her eggs" - I don't know what that means, all I know is we are heartbroken with the news that she will not be having a litter. I didn't even realize how much I was looking forward to hearing news that Roxy was pregnant. I actually cried as I read the bad news. Kind of felt like Jewel died again...
I feel so stupid for crying. I know it's probably for the best. Maybe there is something wrong with the bloodline that made Jewel sick. I don't know. I just wanted a puppy with a little bit of "Jewel" in her... |
