I know I shouldn't hate the entire Dachsund breed, but now when I see one, I immediately tense up. I'm sure yours is great. I don't know what the problem is with my mother's Dachsund (Alice). She's just mean. She doesn't like kids (has tried to bite my son several times, as well as other kids), and when that happened to my little tiny baby I advised my dad that he better hide that dog!!!! Thanks for your nice message. My baby is fine now, but for 6 weeks he had to have his little mouth taped shut and I had to feed him with an eye dropper. He kind of looked like a hairy dolphin. Every now and then he would try so hard to stick his tongue out to lick us.
