If it has healed well and he doesn't seem to be having any problems, I would expect he will do just fine. Missing toes can also be genetic though so unless the breeder knows for sure I wouldn't offer him for stud. I've came across several articles over the years and have only seen one (a large Rottweiler) that had pain associated with the toe loss.
