I usually walk my 5 1/2 month old Yorkie, Oscar, with a harness. The other day I just had him in a collar and leash and he coughed A LOT. Could this be from him pulling too much, or could it be a sign of a collapsing trachea?
Also, I've noticed three "bites" on him. Two are near his genitals, and one is on his abdomen. They are all bright red (one of them has a single tiny bite in the middle with a bright red ring around it), none are inflamed, and they don't seem to bother him. One of them seems to be fading. My first thought was a deer or wood tick, but I haven't found a single one on him. Any ideas or similar experiences?
