You didn't say if you wanted a puppy. If it doesn't matter, you might want to check into the rescue programs. The "cost" is a donation to the rescue program. Not usually too much money but makes a lot of difference for helping them with their wonderful program.
I raised 3 puppies (all Yorkies) in the past but adopted Sean from a rescue program in February. It's as if he's always been at home with us. His temperament is ALL YORKIE with his sweet disposition and special Yorkie kisses.
