Ollie and Chachi are not real fond of their baths, so I thought they probably wouldn't like to play in a pool.

We're having a terrible heat wave here, temps over 100.

I read on another thread that someone put out a kiddie pool. I had thought of doing it but didn't think they would like it.

I have a pool that I keep for the grandkids, so I got it out and put in just a couple of inches of water. They loved it.

It had a tiny hole, so during the night the water leaked out, so this morning Chachi decided that it would make a good litter box. So I had to wash it out.

I put a piece of duct tape over the hole, and put more water in. They jumped right in.

Then just like a couple of kids, they jumped into my flower pots and dug in the dirt with their wet feet then got back into the pool.

So I had to change the water. I swept up all the dirt, and moved the pots to the other side of the fence.

Now they can play in the pool and not the dirt. I'll try to get some pictures later.
