I have some dog first aid information that says for dogs that have ingested sharp objects (like glass shards) to soak a cotton ball (make sure it is real cotton not the cosmetic puffs) in Half & Half and (depending on the size of your dog), either tear into 1/4 or 1/2 and feed to your baby. The sharp object will get caught in the cotton and eventually work it's way out of the digestive system in cushioned comfort.

If the plastic was chewed - the edges would be sharp and probably hurt and they move through his body. I haven't tried the above process myself, but I have it posted in case I ever need it. Hope this helps.

P.S. Welcome to YT.
