Default went to first training class

Well, Sparks and I went to our first training class. The instructor is very nice. She was eyeing Sparks the WHOLE time. She loved his energy and he was the easiest to train despite his HIGH energy. She said he is going to make an excellant agility dog and be a lot of fun too. He has a lot of personality.
We learned, how to take a treat, dog greetings, sit with a hand signal, and basically teaching everything amist distraction. I've pretty much been doing all this BUT it is good to hear different methods to help me improve and enforce what I am teaching.
There were some things I didn't agree with and won't do. She wanted me to ignore him when I come home (we had that discussion on another thread here)...no way...won't do it.
I guess you just have to pick and choose what training methods you want to use.
