My dog sleeps like this all the time.... on his back with his legs straight up - on the sofa, on the floor, on the bed, or anywhere. Obviously, he's very comfortable this way.
A lot of people's Yorkies sleep this way. Enjoy!
And, don't worry about your pup throwing up occasionally. My pets have done this all their lives (occasionally) without ever being sick....especially my cats. I don't know - maybe they eat too fast or drink too fast - or eat something that doesn't quite settle with them.
My dog's and cat's all eat grass. They just love it. But wouldn't you know that occasionally they get a piece stuck in their throat. Then they generally hack and cough a little and finally throw up a little just to get rid of it. (I suppose we'd do the same thing.... if we had grass stuck in our throat.)
