I was looking for a lap dog that would be "mine". Sissy (a female Yorkie) is a wonderful lap dog who loves to cuddle. She also loves strangers and will look for pets/approval from them, but then returns to me. She loves my husband, too and likes to be with him when he comes home from work. She does sleep mostly with him but that is okay with me cause I can sprawl out!! She really has a great personality and is very affectionate. But she is definitely my baby. If you like Yorkies, I would try another one. Perhaps get a front carrier for it (like a baby snuggli) and carry it around as a pup. I didn't put Sissy down very much when she as a pup, so maybe that is why she is like she is. I don't know - I just give thanks for it/her. Good luck.
