If she DOES get it wet...IE...toilet, washing maching, sink..... tell her do NOT try turning it on to see if it still works..... What you do is immediately remove the battery and let it dry out . Preferably a few days . Sometimes it will then start working again. I had one phone that took weeks to thouroughly dry and then POOF it started working again.
