Although everyone here's probably saying "I'm sorry for you" because it is a terrible thing that could happen to a beloved dog, I really do understand how you feel. My mom used to have the cutest yorkie, Daisy. She was my mother's 'pet' and little buddy. One day, when my whole family was in our hot tub outside, my mom's yorkie hopped up onto the rim of it and we didn't notice. A few seconds later, Daisy slipped off the rim and fell into the boiling hot water of the tub. I heard her crying and struggling. We took her to the vet right after that and she was burnt everywhere, but she didn't make it. Everyone here is surely "sorry for your lost", but I am a person who can relate to it and say that I understand how you feel and know how much it hurts to lose your dog.
