It's not the ideal situation, but I can't say it's not normal either. You have already started supplementing? If not, do so starting tomorrow because she is starting to wean them whether they are ready or not. Hopefully for her (mastitis concern if stops nursing abruptly) and the pups she will do it gradually. Keep the pups toenails cut in case this might be contributing to the problem, but there's nothing you can do about their sharp little teeth.
