My Max hates walking on a leash. It seemed to come with age starting around age 2. I think it's a control issue. He loves to run loose which I let him do after he's done his business on the leash so as not to do it somewhere else like in someone's yard. We have a huge field behind our house so I walk him out there until he goes and then when he's done I let him run and he loves its! Also, if I take him somewhere new like to the beach or park then he'll walk a while but in the neighborhood...he just doesn't like it. I think some dogs just aren't into being on a leash. |
