Thanks Linda....it's also the anniversary of my Father-in-laws death. He died on our 1yr in 1995. So it's kind of one of those dates your not really sure if you should celebrate or just let it pass. By the way....I just love all of your babies! |
We have a similar situation. My father-in-law died November 9th, 1995. Our son chose to be married the following year on November 9th. When he told me "when" they were getting married, I was a little worried about my husband and MIL's reaction, but our son wanted to do it that day as a tribute to him. And before the reception was over, our family got together and had a private toast to him.
