Default SHOCKED by # of pups!!

I found out the my Angel Baby's momma recently (in May) had a litter of 9 (yes, NINE!!!) puppies!! Two of them died by day 2, but HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!! NINE PUPPIES for a YORKIE?!?!?!?!

I've heard that the litter size is often passed from mother to daughter. I don't know what I would do if Angel had NINE puppies.

Angel was one of 7 in her litter, if I remember correctly.

With that large of a litter, is it safe to say that you will have at least one die, due to mom not having enough milk to go around. Or could 9 pups survive if all were born without defects or problems?
