My little girl will be 3 in August. I tiled the whole bottom portion of our house after we got her, because I read they were hard to train. I have to admit it took her a while, but she has had the hang of it for over 2 years now and hasn't regressed. She is 3.5 lbs and has a small bladder so I try to let her out often.
