When I worked as a vet tech - my vet said that only bleach will kill the Parvo virus. So anytime I come back from a show or the vet's office - places like that ~ I strip in my garage and take off my shoes and wipe them down. I always keep an extra set of clothes in the garage to change into. This is not going overboard - it is being responsible. And it saves in grief, money, and I keep my dogs happy and healthy.
