So....what I am trying to do is make arrangements with a local nursing home that has convenient access to host us. Many of them have liability issues that we can't bypass, but there is a smaller one, that I have visited before, that may be a possibility. I thought it would be a nice thing to brighten some of the senior's day with a pile of cute yorks...and get us under roof in case of bad weather. Waiting to hear back again from the social director, so fingers crossed everybody.
Also, just a note...the Del Val Specialty is at the Sheraton in Reading in August. If you haven't ever been to one, this is a site to see. Some of the very best of the best yorks in the country will be there. You can grab details through the www.ytca.org site. |
