If it is green and not clear, that means there is an infection. Generally clear means allergies. If she hangs out in the bushes a lot, she probably scratched her eye on a bush. Generally these eye scratches will not clear up on their own in dogs. I would tell her to watch it today and if the green junk is still oozing out of it, then she should take her to the vet this afternoon or in the morning to get some medicine.
I think my new puppy scratched Hobbs' eye. He had green stuff coming out of it this weekend. But, the past 2 days it seems to have cleared up. But, I am watching it REAL closely, and if I see anymore green stuff at all, I'm taking him right to the vet. Infections aren't anything to fool around with.
